How to return your Mill with new packaging (Mill Plus) - White

What’s included:

• 1x Mill box 
  • 2x bottom/side pulp pieces
  • 1x top pulp piece
  • 1x bag
  • 2x blue spacer
  • 1x box 
  • Discard the sled piece - it is not needed for repacking

What’s not:

• Packing tape 

   

Instructions

1. Unpair your old bin: open the Mill app and navigate to Menu→ Device and tap “Remove your bin.” Unplug from the wall then the back of the bin.
   • 
2. Ensure bucket is COMPLETELY EMPTY and carbon filter is DISCARDED before beginning the return process.
3. Place your bucket into a trash bag. Then slot one blue spacer onto each curved side at the lip of the bucket and lift the bucket, placing it back into the bin.
   • The spacers help suspend the bucket to keep it from damaging the bin during transit.
   • The lid should be able to close completely. If the lid does not close completely, you may need to rotate the impeller (or blades) of the bucket until the bucket sits properly.

4. Lay out all packaging pieces and place bin in the middle of an open space so you have plenty of room to pack.
   • 
5. Use packing tape or masking tape to tape the bin lid shut. Do not use duct-tape.
6. Place the plastic bag over the top of the bin and pull down until it reaches the floor.
   • 
7. Place both side pulp pieces on the sides of the bin so that the curved side is touching the side of the bin and the bottom portions are turned outward away from the bin (90 degrees from the portion of the tray touching the side of the bin). 
   • 
8. Place the top pulp on top of the bagged bin, placing the power cord into the back of the bin where the carbon filter was.
   • 
9. Take the empty outer box and cut open the tape on the bottom of the box then tape the top of the empty box closed again, so that the words "Mill" sit right side up.
   • 
10. Holding back the bottom flaps, slide the box over the top of the bin with placed pulp inserts into the box reaches the floor.
    • Flaps should be flat on the floor and on top of the bottom segment of the pulp.
11. Flip the box over so that the bin is upside down in the box.
    • 
12. Fold in the bottom pulp flaps so that they are hugging the bin.
13. Tape the bottom of the box securely closed.
14. Flip box back over then place the FedEx return label OVER the original shipping label on the box. 
15. Self-schedule a FedEx pickup or reach out to Mill Support if you need more assistance with your bin pickup. On the pickup day, you can leave the box outside (if you are not experiencing inclement weather) or in your designated package area for FedEx.
