Yes, cancellation is only effective once you have returned your Mill.

Purchasers
If you do not initiate a return within 90 days of purchase, you will not receive a refund. If we do not receive your bin back within 15 days of cancellation, you will no longer be eligible for a return.
Subscribers
If you elect to cancel your subscription, you can still keep your bin through the end of your current billing period. You’ll continue to be charged subscription fees until you return the bin. And if you are on an annual paid monthly plan, with a 12-month commitment period, you will be charged for any outstanding months upon cancellation.
