When the Mill 1st gen. lid is open, there is a small space where the lid lock goes.
You should do your best to avoid letting food fall into this space. But if a few scraps sneak in there, have no fear!
First try to remove the scraps gently with a thin utensil, like a Q-tip. If your food falls all the way through this space and into the interior device, don’t worry about it. It won’t come in contact with any electronics or cause further damage to the device.
